Laptops are required for the following programs:
- Land Surveying
- Architectural Construction
- Mechanical Design
Most Trades & Industry programs require uniforms which can be purchased at the BookStore.
Tools are required for many programs, ranging from a couple of hundred dollars to more than $3,500. You will receive a tool list when you meet with your advisor.
Auto Services students MUST have a clean driving record and be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
Energy and Welding have Fall and Spring semester starts. All other programs begin Fall semester only. If you would like to take classes the spring semester before a start, there may be general education or general studies courses to choose from.
Electrical Construction technology students are highly encouraged to join the MESA (MN Electrical Student Association) for a $20 fee. The cost is more than recovered in perks.
You will have a faculty advisor from your major. You will be required to meet with your advisor once each semester in order to get your access code for registration.
