You are a college student now, and things are new and exciting! Going to class, going to work, getting everything done - it’s on you to make these things happen. And the best way to get through college is to stay on top of everything, and to keep building your skills. There are a lot of resources across the campus to help you, including the Library.
Every other week we will host an in-person session on a topic that will be important for you to know, and will help you to succeed here. (We will post a video on each topic after the in-person session, in case you cannot make it.) These will be interactive, and give you a chance to interact with your fellow students, as well as other people from around the campus. You will get a handout with resources to help you as you keep building your skills.
Your success will mostly come down to the effort you put into it. There will be a lot of people here to help you, but the end result will be based on your work.
Drop by the library (in person or online) and give us 20 minutes; then take these skills and ideas to help you build success. Come by at 3:30 for each session, and we will give you the skills to have a great college experience!
