Wednesday, Dec 4: Paper Airplanes
These are not the paper airplanes of your childhood.
We will inspire you to create all sorts of different models of airplanes, and to launch them across the library. We will be tracking the longest flight a plane can make over the entire day. Stop by and see if you can be our winner!
Project information, directions, and materials will be available in the library on the assigned day. You can drop by anytime the library is open that day, and work on the project yourself. Or come by at 2:00 when library staff will be available for about an hour to work with you and any other people who come by to work together.
We all know we spend too much time on our devices. But what else is there to do? The library has you covered! We are the source for information.
Join us in our programs to learn some “old fashioned” skills that you can use today. Get out of the digital world for a little while, away from algorithms and influences, and try a project. Have fun, and maybe learn a new skill that will be useful!
Handouts with directions and information will be provided. In person participants will receive materials for each project. Remote participants can use the instruction sheet to find their own materials. Anyone from the SCTCC community is invited to build some skills.
