Naloxone is a life-saving medication used to reverse opioid overdoses.

During this training, you will learn

  • Information about naloxone
  • Signs of an overdose
  • How to properly use naloxone 
  • Ways to support individuals in recovery  

This naloxone training session is led by experts from the St. Cloud Recovery Community Network. 

In recent years, the opioid crisis has had a devastating impact on communities across the country. Opioid overdoses can happen to anyone, and quick action can mean the difference between life and death. Naloxone is a powerful tool that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose if administered in time. By attending this training, you are taking an essential step in becoming a part of the solution.

Whether you are a concerned community member, a friend or family member of someone at risk, or a professional in healthcare or social services, this training will provide you with the confidence and capability to act swiftly and effectively in an emergency situation.
