Cyclones Basketball player Brooklyn Fischer was named NJCAA Player of the Week for Nov. 27-Dec. 2.
During the Nov. 25 win against Central Lakes, the sophomore from Belgrade shot 50% from the field, 40% from the three-point line, and 74% from the free-throw line. Fischer made 28 points and 15 rebounds.
The Cyclones Women’s Basketball team is 4-2 overall after a month into the season. They play next on Friday, Dec. 5, at Minnesota North Rainy River. The next home game is Friday, Dec. 12 at 5:30 p.m., where they play Minnesota North Itasca.
