Receiving a Financial Aid Refund
If your financial aid award exceeds the amount you owe for tuition, fees, and authorized charges, the remaining balance—referred to as a refund—will be returned to you. To ensure timely delivery, students are strongly encouraged to set up direct deposit in eServices at least two weeks prior to the scheduled refund date.
Students who do not set up direct deposit will receive a check mailed to their local address on file as of the date listed in the disbursement schedule.
Steps to Set up Direct Deposit
- Login to eServices with your StarID and password
- Click or tap through to "Financial Aid"
- Click or tap through to "Direct Deposit Setup"
Accurate banking and address information will help prevent delays in receiving your refund.
Financial Aid Disbursements
Any refund on your financial aid will be sent to you either through direct deposit if you have set it up or via a check in the mail.
