This course is designed to give students the opportunity to explore different career options in the biomedical technician field and gain exposure to the environments in which they would be working. Students will research the Hospitals, Clinics and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture) to get a better understanding of the different field options. Student Learning Outcomes

• Observe the medical work site
• Identify the daily duties of a technician.
• Explain safety, sanitation, and hazardous material protocols.
• Identify medical test equipment and preventive maintenance procedures
• Demonstrate basic workplace etiquette
