Student Learning Outcomes
Students will receive hands-on instruction as they complete the installation of a permanent electrical service for a residential dwelling. Students will enhance their wiring skills through understanding of basic terminology for rough-in wiring of a residential dwelling according to industry standards. Job skills will be developed as part of this class. Student Learning Outcomes
- Develop an electrical plan for a single-family residence.
- Apply electrical codes to unique applications or residential construction.
- Select materials and layout for an assigned project.
- Select and apply tools and equipment for an assigned project.
- Validate residential projects against National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements.
- Document skill development for future employment opportunities.
