Student Learning Outcomes

Students will analyze advanced electrical concepts as they pertain to the National Electric Code (NEC) and the NFP 70E (OSHA STANDARD). Students will also develop skills required to take the State Electrical exam.Student Learning Outcomes
  • Apply NEC calculations.
  • Determine the safety aspects of the NEC and the NFP 70E.
  • Organize thought patterns by using the index and glossary of the NEC.
  • Use occupational specific technical vocabulary as defined in the NEC.
  • Perform calculations per NEC from Blueprint information.
