Student Learning Outcomes
Students will read and interpret prints, develop procedures for installing wiring and control systems in commercial buildings, and determine pipe fill, box fill, voltage drop, ampacities, and de-rating of conductors. Additionally, students will develop pipe bending skills through lab projects in Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) with ? inch and ? inch conduit. Metal Clad (MC) cable lab projects will enhance students? knowledge of other commercial wiring installations.Student Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate conduit bending skills to industry standards.
- Explain National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements for commercial installations.
- Install lighting solutions according to manufacturer's specifications.
- Interpret prints to follow distinct installation instructions.
- Select and apply tools and equipment for commercial projects.
