Meets MN Transfer Goals 5 & 8 - History & the Social & Behavioral Sciences and Global Perspective. This course describes and analyzes the most violent and destructive war in human history, including is causes, Fascism, the Third Reich, Soviet Communism, war aims of participating countries, campaigns and battles, strategies and tactics, technologies, political and military leadership, home fronts, diplomacy, genocide, final victory, trials for war crimes, and the consequences of the war on subsequent developments.
