Student Learning Outcomes
The Capstone course is taken in the final semester of Network Administration and Cybersecurity programs as a culminating experience where students demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform outcomes from their previous coursework. In addition to demonstrating mastery of the technical skills in the program, students will also exhibit their ability to manage projects, problem solve, work in teams, and communicate to accomplish the outcomes of this course. Scheduled class meetings will be used to perform and validate these skills and be supplemented with discussions on related industry topics and trends.

- Design and construct a local-area network and configure network resources and hosts as directed by the instructor.
- Resolve network connectivity problems on a local-area network using a systematic troubleshooting approach.
- Differentiate the specialized functions of the network server and the conditions required for a secure network server room.
- Apply all relevant workplace safety and environment standards during computer maintenance.
- Utilize a customer-oriented approach to resolve user problems.
