Students will be introduced to key concepts of the surveying and civil engineering industry related to drafting and design methods using Computer Aided Drafting Design (CADD) software. Students will input drafting commands to develop civil/survey drawings, store data and produce digital drawings. Students will be introduced to drafting software and drafting applications.

• Apply computer aided drafting design (CADD) methods and skills.
• Apply fundamental CADD editing techniques to modify drawings to accurately convey information.
• Create digital drawings using drafting and design software programs.
• Employ correct drafting tools and use of scaling devices accurately.
• Apply fundamental CADD drafting methods to draft survey linework.
