Student Learning Outcomes

This course teaches learners how to use the Solidworks mechanical design automation software to build parametric models of parts and assemblies and how to make drawings of those parts and assemblies.Student Learning Outcomes
  • Demonstrate Solidworks user interface skills.
  • Practice proper sketching principles.
  • Create basic part models.
  • Use symmetry and draft functions.
  • Use patterning functions.
  • Create revolved features.
  • Complete simulated design changes and error corrections.
