Student Learning Outcomes

In the trucking industry there is often a need for technicians to have basic welding knowledge and skills. Students are introduced to Shield Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), plasma cutting, and oxygen acetylene cutting, heating, welding (OAW). Working in the lab on exercises and projects, students will practice these welding processes safely.Student Learning Outcomes
