Student Learning Outcomes

Students will work in a sponsoring Medium/Heavy truck service facility. The work will be full time / part time approximately 40 hours per week. The tasks will be consistent with previous course work. This is a variable credit experience. Students may earn 1 to 7 credits. Course goals vary with the number of credits.

Student Learning Outcomes:
  • Perform required maintenance and various inspection procedures on over the road vehicles, agricultural equipment or heavy equipment.
  • Demonstrate entry level skill when performing service operations.
  • Exhibit technician/mechanic professionalism.
