Student Learning Outcomes
Students will gain hands-on skills to install, configure, and manage Microsoft Server applications, including Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS), Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft SharePoint using graphical management tools and PowerShell. This course will provide students with a greater knowledge of Microsoft Server applications and the associated management and end-user (client) applications, to better support end users.

- Deploy Internet Information Services (IIS) for access by the end-user.
- Troubleshoot Internet Information Server (IIS) and SharePoint server and client-side application usage and issues.
- Automate repetitive administrative tasks using PowerShell and batch scripts.
- Deploy a SharePoint environment.
- Apply security to Internet Information Services (IIS), and SharePoint.
- Employ network security to ensure server application information protection.
