Employees of St. Cloud Technical & Community College were recognized for outstanding work at the 2018 CFO Annual Conference held this week at the Minnesota State system office in St. Paul.
THE CHANCELLOR’S AWARD
This award recognizes individuals or teams whose efforts support the Strategic Framework and result in systemwide improvements in financial management, services, or processes. Award criteria focuses on innovation, collaboration, and new work that is above and beyond regular duties. Laura King, vice chancellor and Chief Financial Officer of Minnesota State, said, “The Chancellor’s Award honors leaders from across our colleges and universities who work in their communities and across the state every day to bring the highest quality, most affordable education to all Minnesotans.”
This year, the Chancellor’s Award was presented to Karen Kedrowski of Northeast Higher Education District, Lori Kloos of St. Cloud Technical & Community College, and Pat Nordick of Minnesota State Community and Technical College.
THE OUTSTANDING SERVICES AWARD
This award recognizes individuals and/or teams that provide outstanding campus service. This year, 13 individuals and teams were recognized. King said, “It is a joy to read through the nominations and feel the passion and commitment of your finance teams to their work and the quality of that work.”
