Mission of Accessibility Services

We support SCTCC faculty, staff, community, and students with disabilities in obtaining, understanding, and advocating for equitable and inclusive access in all aspects of education and campus life.


We envision SCTCC to be a fully accessible institution with a strong campus culture of accessibility and inclusion.


Accessibility Services is committed to:

Accessibility Services’ goals are to:

  3. Increase student autonomy, self-efficacy, and self-advocacy
  4. Empower SCTCC students with disabilities to embrace their diversity
  5. Develop office visibility and approachability to encourage students with disabilities to seek support
  6. Decrease access barriers in all aspects of education and campus life
