The Electrical program’s MESA Club spent Tuesday, Oct. 17, cleaning up their section of roadway for their Adopt-a-Highway project on a two-mile stretch east of St. Cloud on County Road 8.
“It was a beautiful day to get outside and enjoy the weather before the snow starts flying,” said instructor Craig Fischer.
Twenty-five club members participated in the fall cleanup, which the club has been doing for three years.
They filled eight bags of garbage along with a deer skull, pallet, couch cushion, and a lot of Amazon boxes (with nothing in them, to their dismay). Last year they found an Amazon gift card worth $50.
Thank you to the MESA Club and other groups on campus who work to make our world a cleaner place!
