SCTCC has been named the 35th best community college for 2025 by intelligent.com, which ranks two-year colleges nationwide from public and private nonprofit, accredited institutions. SCTCC received an intelligent score of 77.5 out of 100.
Using information from the US Dept. of Education, National Center of Education Statistics, Bureau of Labor Statistics, and current information from pertinent ranking sites, intelligent.com created a list of 50 top community colleges out of more than 1,000 nationwide.
To create the ranking, they created a list of nonprofit and accredited higher education institutions; aggregated rankings from the data sources and evaluated each of the top schools based on factors important to students, like academic quality, cost, graduation rate, and resources.
