From June 28 to July 5, SCTCC will be unable to take student payments in any form due to a transition to Workday, a software for financial management, human capital management, and student information system.
The transition to Workday is happening system-wide at all Minnesota State colleges and universities as part of a larger, years-long plan to replace ISRS, the Integrated Statewide Records System. ISRS has been supporting the state's two-year colleges and universities since 1994.
This project, called NextGen, will be rolled out in two phases. On July 1, the first transition will take place with financial management and human capital management. With the move of these two major systems across all the institutions, ISRS' financial side will be unavailable.
SCTCC will be unable to take payments, including:
- online payments
- card payments
- checks
- cash
Students will be able to register for classes during the transition.
Payments will resume on July 5 at 9 a.m.
