Student Learning Outcomes
This internship provides students with practical training and hands-on experience in the field of environmental science. The internship serves as both an academic and professional learning opportunity, allowing students to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired at SCTCC in a real-world workplace setting. To fulfill course requirements, students must complete a minimum of 120 work hours. Upon completion, students are required to submit an analytical report that integrates their academic learning with insights gained from the internship experience.Student Learning Outcomes
- Implement appropriate procedures and techniques to address identified environmental issues.
- Establish professional networks with companies, organizations, and/or government agencies to enhance career development and industry engagement.
- Develop solutions for at least two environmental issues through the use of mathematical and scientific methods.
- Apply new technologies and management practices with companies and government agencies.
- Synthesize internship experiences through a final report or presentation highlighting key learnings and contributions.
