Student Learning Outcomes
Students will study the skills needed to effectively manage the current Microsoft Windows desktop Operating System (OS). Topics include installing the OS and applications, using functions and utilities, managing security, and the importance of managing the computer through the command line environment.
By completing this course, students are prepared to troubleshoot a Windows desktop system successfully. This course also prepares students for the current Microsoft desktop OS configuration exam. Completing this course helps prepare a student for a career in systems administration, network administration, information security, or technology support.
