Student Learning Outcomes
Introduction to Networks II covers the architecture, structure, functions, and components of the Internet and other computer networks. Students perform basic configurations for routers and switches and implement Internet Protocol (IP).Student Learning Outcomes
- Configure switches and end devices with security best practices to access local and remote network resources.
- Configure routers with security best practices to enable end-to-end connectivity between remote devices.
- Design, calculate, and apply subnet masks and IPv4 and IPv6 addresses to fulfill given requirements and verify connectivity between devices.
- Utilize standard network utilities to verify small network operations, analyze data traffic, and troubleshoot network problems.
