Sonography
Students learn scanning procedures in abdominal, superficial structures, gynecological, obstetrical, and vascular ultrasound. Sonography graduates find work in hospitals, clinics, imaging centers, and mobile scanning services.
Surgical Technology
Under the supervision of a surgeon, surgical technologists ensure that the operating room environment is safe, the equipment functions properly, and the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. At SCTCC, we ensure every graduate has the appropriate skills needed to succeed in the surgical room and their future occupations.
Coaching
A Coaching certificate from SCTCC preps future coaches in coaching styles and methods and gets them ready for the mental aspect of the position as well as sports. The classes cover preventing and caring for athletic injuries, handling emergencies, and coaching and training techniques for various sports: football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, and softball.
