On March 16th, the Cyclones Pride Club along with the SCSU Drag Troupe hosted a drag show in the SCTCC Commons.
Attendees enjoyed a high energy show with multiple performers dancing and lip syncing. The musical selection and performances ranged from lighthearted and humorous numbers getting laugher from the audience, to profound and reflective performances. Between performances there were also educational elements with information on the history of Drag and its intersectional nature as an artform.
In recognizing all that went into the event, Melissanne Frank, faculty advisor to the Cyclone Pride Club said "I am deeply appreciative of all the support from SCTCC faculty, staff, and administrators in helping plan and implement this amazing opportunity for student engagement and inclusiveness at our college."
