The SCTCC Auto Body program sent five participants to the 2017 SkillsUSA Minnesota State Conference held March 31-April 2.
Alex Bigley, Kelly Zelko, Mitchell Thoreson, Jared West, and Colton Popp participated in the competitions.
Popp, a post-secondary student, placed first in the Collision Repair contest and second in the Refinish contest. He will be going to Louisville, KY, in June to compete at the national level in Collision Repair.
SkillsUSA Minnesota is a Career & Technical Organization that provides leadership training, volunteer opportunities, competitions, and conferences to enhance students’ self-worth and employability skills.
