Students nominated by instructor for admission to National Honor Society

Four SCTCC Surgical Technology students were admitted to the Association of Surgical Technologists National Honor Society.
Julia Dumonceaux, Danielle Rueckert, Hannah Schneider, and Dru Zenzen were nominated by instructor Lori Groinus. To be accepted to the honor society, students meet the following criteria:
- Complete 85% of the graduation requirements at a CAAHEP-accredited surgical technology program.
- Maintain and have no less than a cumulative 3.75 GPA (based on a 4.0 grading scale).
- 95% overall attendance rate.
- Good school citizen and have neither past nor present disciplinary actions.
- Project qualities of integrity and leadership in academic and extracurricular activities.
The AST National Honor Society recognizes the achievements of surgical technology students and support learning and professional development of its members to improve the profession.
