Strategic Plan 2026 graphic

The Strategic Planning Committee continues to be hard at work in creating a plan for our college. Throughout the next several months, we will be highlighting some of our dedicated committee members!

This week, we are highlighting Tracy Dilly, Biology and HITM Faculty.

Tracy serves on the Strategic Planning Committee to improve students’ experiences. “My vision is that the work done by this committee would lead to a continuation of the great things SCTCC already does as well as changes that impact our students in positive ways. I want our students to have an awesome experience from start to finish.”

Tracy Dilly

Why did you choose to serve on the Strategic Planning Committee?

I’ve had students express their joys as well as frustrations with their experience at SCTCC. I wanted to be able to share their thoughts and ideas with the committee to be able to build on the joys and find ways to fix the frustrations.

What has been one of your most rewarding experiences serving on the Strategic Planning Committee?

I enjoyed the Future Summit. I always think it’s great when the campus can get together as a whole and learn about how to better each other. I love it when students are invited to these gatherings as well. I feel that the students should come first and allowing them to voice their thoughts and opinions is crucial in shaping a campus that is student centered.

What are some visions you have for our college that you would like to see come out Strategic Planning Work?

My vision is that the work done by this committee would lead to a continuation of the great things SCTCC already does as well as changes that impact our students in positive ways. I want our students to have an awesome experience from start to finish.
