Advanced Training for Sonographers is a continuing education program by Customized Training at SCTCC that aims to expand sonography expertise at rural health care & underrepresented communities.

Upcoming Course: Breast Imaging

Begins September 14, 2026

Advance your breast imaging expertise in this comprehensive 4-week course covering ultrasound, mammography, MRI, and biopsy procedures. Build confidence in identifying normal and abnormal findings, distinguishing benign from malignant characteristics, and delivering high-quality patient care.

This course is appropriate for those that have an ultrasound background and would like to prepare for the breast credentialing board exam. Learn more and register for Breast Imaging.

Advanced Training for Sonographers is specifically designed to expand the skillsets of practicing sonographers.

We understand sonographers have busy working schedules so we have designed these continuing education courses for flexibility.

Coursework includes:

  • Online interactive course content,
  • Online course assessments,
  • Zoom & online discussions, and
  • Simulation assignments.

Each course will conclude with an in-person skills practice & assessment at your facility or a nearby location.

Customized Training at St. Cloud Technical & Community College

The Customized Training department of St. Cloud Technical & Community College strives to strengthen the region by helping to advance the skills of the area workforce.
