Advanced Training for Sonographers is a continuing education program by Customized Training at SCTCC that aims to expand sonography expertise at rural health care & underrepresented communities.

Vascular Essentials

May-June 2025

Vascular Essentials is designed to support a sonographer's vascular knowledge and help prepare for the ARDMS VT examination. Register here.

Adult Echo

July-September 2025

The Adult Echo course is designed to support a sonographer's echocardiography knowledge and help prepare for the ARDMS AE examination. Register here.

This activity is an approved SDMS CME activity.

Hybrid Courses That Work For Your Schedule

We understand sonographers have busy working schedules so we have designed these continuing education courses for flexibility.

Coursework includes:

  • Online interactive course content,
  • Online course assessments,
  • Zoom & online discussions, and
  • Simulation assignments.

Each course will conclude with an in-person skills practice & assessment at your facility or a nearby location.

Customized Training at St. Cloud Technical & Community College

The Customized Training department of St. Cloud Technical & Community College strives to strengthen the region by helping to advance the skills of the area workforce. The team partners with business, industry, nonprofit, and government organizations to assess needs and implement customized training solutions to support organizational growth, productivity, and employee attraction, retention, and development.
