Inviting experts to classrooms is not new to Becky Shand’s students. In February, Eve Miller, the Marketing Manager at Bernick’s, visited Shand’s Marketing Management class to share her experience and knowledge with students.
As a Brand Manager with Bernick’s, Miller had plenty of examples to share and information on how to apply what the students learn to their future jobs. And just to make things a little fun, she challenged the class with trivia that they aced.
Shand and other instructors regularly bring in speakers to classes to share experiences and real-life scenarios that graduates will find in the field.
