Wellness Resource Services hit it out of the park this week when they offered wellness stations for students as they head into crunch time for the end of the semester and finals week.
“Wellness for the Homestretch” included seven wellness stations with activities like positive post-its, affirmations, coloring, and playing with play-doh. Additionally, students got to grab a goodie bag on the way out that had cotton candy, a journal, fidget bendee, and other snacks in it.
For the first time the event was held, Jeanna Franklin, SCTCC Mental Health Professional, was very happy with the turnout. Nearly 100 students attended from a variety of programs across campus.
The post-it activity was the most popular, and the 45 notes will be used in Wellness Resource Services’ Kindness Campaign in February. Watch for more information on that event!
