The Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) program welcomes 12 students each fall semester. Because this program is highly competitive, plan to connect with your advisor each semester to prepare for the program application process.

Open application period: The Cardiovascular Technology program open application period is December 1st through February 1st. Applications will remain open until filled. Applications received after the deadline will be placed on the alternate list.

The Cardiovascular Technology program uses a selective process and there is no wait list for this program. Completing the prerequisite courses does not guarantee acceptance into the program.

If you are not an admitted and registered student at SCTCC, apply to SCTCC as a Pre-Cardiovascular student and submit official transcripts prior to completing the Cardiovascular Technology application.
