Student Learning Outcomes

This course will cover the identification, selection, installation, and securing of aircraft hardware, basic tools used in aviation maintenance and performing precision measurements using special tools.Student Learning Outcomes
  • Determine and properly torque aircraft hardware.
  • Select and install aircraft bolts.
  • Make precision measurements with an instrument that has a Vernier scale.
  • Identify rivets by physical characteristics.
  • Check for proper calibration of a micrometer.
  • Use Vernier calipers, micrometers, and measurement gauges.
