This course will cover basic Alternating Current (AC) electricity, electron theory, Ohms Law, electrical circuit calculations, multimeter function, and use in AC circuits. Also, AC electrical circuit diagrams, and typical components.Student Learning Outcomes

• Perform circuit continuity test.
• Measure voltage.
• Measure current.
• Measure resistance.
• Test a switch or relay.
• Test a fuse or circuit breaker.
• Read and interpret aircraft electrical circuit diagrams, and symbols.
• Troubleshoot a circuit.
• Identify symbols used in electrical and electronic schematic diagrams.
• Demonstrate how to test for short-circuit and open-circuit conditions.
• Determine or measure for open electrical circuits.
• Describe the components and operation of an AC motor.
