This course will cover procedures used for aircraft fabric covering, inspection, testing, and repair. We will discuss inspection techniques, tools, and practices for wood structures, cleaning and repairing of acrylic windshields and inspection of restraints and upholstery.Student Learning Outcomes
  • Perform inspection and maintenance of windows.
  • Explain the procedures for window temporary and permanent repairs.
  • Clean and inspect acrylic type windshields.
  • Locate and explain procedures for a temporary repair to a side window.
  • Tie a modified seine knot.
