Student Learning Outcomes
This course provides instruction on advanced echocardiographic procedures. Students will learn about procedures, applications, interpretation, and technical report writing related to echocardiographic studies.Student Learning Outcomes
- Describe the procedures and applications of stress echocardiography.
- Identify alternate diagnostic modalities and their correlation with echocardiography.
- Demonstrate the ability to write technical reports based upon the findings of the echocardiographic exam.
- Identify normal and abnormal cardiac rhythm strips.
- Discover the basic principles of EKG interpretation.
- Identify cardiac arrhythmias on a rhythm strip.
- Discuss pharmacology as it relates to echocardiographic studies.
- Identify IV administration techniques.
