This course enables study of concepts related to farm business analysis, and exploration of possible implications and/or solutions to these concepts. A systematic method to assess farm business strengths and weaknesses based on the analysis will be used.Student Learning Outcomes
- Explain selected sections of the farm business analysis
- Complete and understand the financial scorecard
- Determine the farm business's strengths and weaknesses
- Complete a farm business S.W.O.T. analysis using the information from the whole farm and enterprise analysis
- Compare farm financial scorecard to industry averages
- Develop enterprise budgets to reflect desired enterprise improvements
