Competitors Needed for the ICL Collegiate Cup Championship
The ICL Collegiate Cup allows students in cybersecurity programs to compete in live-fire challenges that mirror the scenarios they will face on the job in a hyper-realistic cyber range. It is a prime opportunity for students to prove that they have what it takes to excel in their careers as cyber defenders – and win world-class prizes!

Is ChatGPT A cybersecurity threat?
Carly Page at TechCruch explores the hot topic of ChatGPT, OpenAI’s conversational chatbot, and its potential impact on Cybersecurity. Through the use of Large Language Models (LLMs) the AI has developed an ability to have conversational interactions with users. While there’s novelty of having some topic explained to a user in the tone of a sea-faring pirate or students using the AI to write essay question responses, a real potential threat exists. Read more

National Cybersecurity Virtual Career Fair 2023
The National Cybersecurity Training and Education (NCyTE) Center and the Centers of Academic Excellence (CAE) in Cybersecurity Community are hosting the seventh annual National Cybersecurity Virtual Career Fair (VCF), on September 22, 2023, from 9:00 am-1:00 pm PT.
As the CAE in Cybersecurity program continues to designate new CAEs, the number of students participating in the VCF grows each year. Last year, over 1100 students and alumni participated in the virtual career fair. Employers from industry, government, and academia will be present seeking top cyber talent from over 400 institutions designated as Centers of Academic Excellence in Research (CAE-R), Cyber Defense (CAE-CD), and Cyber Operations (CAE-CO), and institutions in the Candidate's Program (pending approval).
