strategic plan
Jeff G

As we continue with the important work of Strategic Planning, we would like to highlight some members of the Strategic Planning Committee, who make strategic planning possible!  Read on to see why Jeff thinks everyone’s voice is important in strategic planning.

Why did you choose to serve on the Strategic Planning Committee?

I am enjoying serving on the Strategic Planning Committee. I enjoy working with fellow faculty, staff and administrators to help shape the future of the college. The committee meetings have been well organized and very productive. Everyone’s voice is important. Nice to see small steps lead to big steps.

What has been one of your most rewarding experiences serving on the Strategic Planning Committee?

The most rewarding experiences for me is the collaboration of the college working together as a team to help shape the future of the college. All voices heard even during the pandemic!

What are some visions you have for our college that you would like to see come out of Strategic Planning Work?

I very much enjoyed being a member on a Scan Team and hearing all the Scan Team findings. I really enjoyed doing research and hearing the research of the other Scan Teams. All teams were able to list 3-5 strategic recommendations and share findings with all committee members. There were 6 Scan Team Topics identified that were believed to impact the development of a strategic plan for SCTCC.
