The SCTCC Machine Tool program had eight students who participated in the 2017 SkillsUSA Minnesota State Conference that was held March 31-April 2.
Bruce Walkely placed third in Trade Math and Blueprint Reading.
Chris Dietz, Casey Warner, and Isaac Zipp placed third in the Automated Manufacturing team competition.
Dietz also placed first in Blueprint Reading.
SkillsUSA Minnesota is a Career & Technical Organization that provides leadership training, volunteer opportunities, competitions, and conferences to enhance students’ self-worth and employability skills. Winners of the state contests have the opportunity to go on to a national level competition.
