Boy Scouts from all over central Minnesota made their annual stop at SCTCC to work on their Surveying merit badge.
With the help of land surveying students and instructors, the Scouts were able to meet all the requirements to earn their Surveying merit badge in one evening, which was complete with pizza and pop.
The Scouts aren’t likely to be thinking of career options, but if they were, land surveying is one of the best options they could explore. Most SCTCC land surveying students find good-paying jobs after their first year in the two-year program.
Fortunately for the Scouts, they have many more merit badges to earn and adventures to undertake before they have to make decisions about their careers.
