When three SCTCC Construction programs get together to work on a project, you can bet the results will be great.
The Carpentry, Electrical, and Plumbing students work together on a construction project each year. This year was a 384-square-foot house outside of St. John’s Episcopal Church in St. Cloud which will be used to house people transitioning out of homelessness.
On May 10, SCTCC students, instructors, and leadership gathered together with members of the church for a dedication of the house.
Though the house has a small footprint, the necessities are ready for move-in, with a small kitchen, bathroom, and a bedroom with a walk-out patio door.
