The Surgical Technology program welcomes 24 students each fall semester. Because this program is highly competitive, plan to connect with your advisor each semester to prepare for the program application process.

Open application period: December 1st through February 15th

The Surgical Technology program uses a selective process and there is no wait list for this program. Completing the prerequisite courses does not guarantee acceptance into the program.

If you are not an admitted and registered student at SCTCC, apply to SCTCC as a Pre-Surgical Technology student and submit official transcripts prior to completing the Surgical Technology application.
