Mission

We support SCTCC faculty, staff, community, and students with disabilities in obtaining, understanding, and advocating for equitable and inclusive access in all aspects of education and campus life.

Goals

Accessibility Services’ goals are to:

  1. Create and maintain an inclusive campus culture
  2. Educate and collaborate with faculty and staff to foster accessibility and inclusion within their sphere of influence
  3. Increase student autonomy, self-efficacy, and self-advocacy
  4. Empower SCTCC students with disabilities to embrace their diversity
  5. Develop office visibility and approachability to encourage students with disabilities to seek support
  6. Decrease access barriers in all aspects of education and campus life
