Two SCTCC employees have been recognized by the Minnesota State Transportation Center of Excellence.
Roseanne Anderson, the Administrative Assistant for the Trades & Industry division, was awarded the 2023 Academic Professional of the Year Award.
Rosanne has been at SCTCC since 1997 and has worked professionally with the state of Minnesota since 1987.
“Through her extensive experience, Roseanne has acquired valuable skills in accommodating people’s needs and ensuring the smooth functioning of operations,” said a press release from the Minnesota State TCOE.
Tyler Kunstleben, Auto Body instructor, was awarded the 2023 Outstanding New Educator of the Year Award. This award recognizes early-career educators to demonstrate commitment and potential in the field of transportation teaching and learning.
A graduate of SCTCC, Tyler started teaching at SCTCC in Fall 2022 after working full time as a body tech and painter.
“Tyler has found teaching to be very rewarding, and he enjoys working alongside the team of dedicated individuals at SCTCC,” stated the press release.
