The Auto Body Collision Technology program recently received a donation of work shirts and pants from two different companies: Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF) and Abra. This donation is a continuation of the long standing strong partnership between the businesses and the SCTCC Auto Body program.

Abra is a local business who with 5 different locations in Minnesota and sits on the advisory board for the program. They provides valuable assistance to the program by demonstrating ADAS (Advanced driver-assistance systems), windshields, and more as well as inviting students to tour their facilities to help them envision their transition from education to industry.

The Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF) supports the SCTCC Auto Body program through donations, scholarships, and events that students attend. CREF helps ASE accredited programs like SCTCC by offering free estimating programs for our students and instructors to gain experience and learn from. They also donate commonly needed supplies that are utilized daily by students in the program. CREF works to connect accredited programs with large sponsors such as 3M, connecting supporters and programs with mutually beneficial training and donations. Each year, CREF awards scholarships that students of accredited programs are eligible to apply for including those designated for women, and tool grant and scholarship.
