Students from the Auto Body Collision Technology program get many chances through the year to learn from industry experts. In late October, they got to learn about plastic panel repair from Sneckner Elliot Manufacturing (SEM) expert Aaron Tremble.
Tremble conducted a hands-on demonstration that showed proper procedures for cleaning, prepping, and repairing plastic panels according to OEM standards. Afterward, students got the opportunity to perform their own plastic repairs with professional-grade products.
“This type of industry engagement is a cornerstone of our Auto Body program,” said lab assistant Leanne Pearson. “We are grateful to Aaron and SEM for sharing their expertise and supporting our mission to prepare the next generation of skilled collision repair technicians for success in the workforce.”
