Baseball on the way to NJCAA Nationals for Fourth Straight Year

The Cyclones Baseball team is on its way to the NJCAA Division III World Series for the fourth straight year after clinching the North Plains championship held May 16-18 at the MAC in St. Cloud.

After taking down Century 24-22, Brock Woitalla was named the tournament’s MVP and Coach David Kroger was named the Region XIII Coach of the Year.

Several Cyclones were named to the MCAC Central All-Division Team: Sam Holthaus, Terrence Moody, and Cayden Hansen were named to first teams; Caden Hansen, Elian Mezquita, Reece Berberich, and Cole Fuchs were named to second teams; and Max Reis and Carson Reeve were named to third teams.  

The Cyclones will travel to Auburn, NY, for the NJCAA national tournament and will play at Falcon Park. They got the #6 seed in the tournament and will face Dallas College – Eastfield in the opening round matchup.

For those traveling to Auburn: fan parking is available in the Main Lot in front of Falcon Park, Across the street from the stadium, along the third base line.
